Cheugy

 As a student of social media, I should have known that my love of the web could result in my going viral one day, but I never considered that it could land my name in The New York Times. After posting on tiktok about a word one of my friends made up (whose first definition I wrote on Urban Dictionary in 2018), I was interviewed by the Times, and have now watched the word appear in Rolling Stone, The Cut, The Today Show, many of my favorite podcasts, and even SNL.  If you feel so inclined to learn more, an Instagram account run by friends and I houses the cheugy content we know and love.
